Unable to turn on the Media Sharing in the Network and sharing cente.
Action
Tried to turn on the Media Sharing in the Network and sharing cente.
Unable to do so - trun on options does not respond.
Due to Corrupted Files in users WMP folder.
Follow the Steps Mentioned below :
Step 1: Open services.msc and Navigate to - Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service and Stop the service.
Step 2: Open Folder options and check the option - show hidden files and folder.
Step 3: Navigate to location C:\users\MyAccount\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player
Step 4: Delete the Contents in side the Folder.
Step 5: Navigate to c:\Users\ Mcx1 folder and Delete the Contents of the Folder.
Step 6 : open the Comand Prompt in elevated mode and run the Commands - wmpnetwk.exe, wmpnscfg.exe and wmpshare.exe
Step 7: Restart the Computer and check with Media Sharing in the Network and sharing center is getting truned on.
