How to protect my online transactions

In this century of everything online,I am providing some tips that will be useful to reduce threat to secure online transaction.

1)unless you are very sure about the URL of the site which you are going to browse,transact use search engine to land on the correct website as search engines can lead to the requested site.

2)In the links which transactions double check does it start with https:// instead of http://.

3)Verify do you get a small lock symbol in the links which involve transactions.

4)Avoid accessing the links/URL via pop-ups.

5)Avoid online transactions in public systems,hot-spot,Public networks.

6)use Browsing centre’s just to browse not to do online transactions.

7)Do not respond to mails from Banks stating to change any personal information following the link provided in the mail.

8)Never trust the emails which says you have won money,you are rewarded with products for less amount,you are the winner of some lucky draw,….sent from unknown person or company.

9)Don’T provide your personal information ,contact details in unnecessary websites.

The last never be in a hurry to complete online transaction spend some time to confirm are you in to the exact website.

We have a attractive product from Netgear for the Skype users.You can use the SKYPE service without any PC or laptop just WiFi network is required.

When you read this will be puzzled how is it possible to use Skype without a computer, but its possible with this product of Netgear.Designed in such a way that it comes with a preloaded skype software,When you open the package turning on the device just you have to connect to a WiFi network and type in skype username and password start talking It doesnt have any limitation towards any services provided SKYPE
Its very useful if you are regular skype user where need not boot your computer log in and make the voice call just like an ordinary cordless phone stay connected and dial to friends and relatives online,also make calls to other phones using the skype minutes.

multiple PC’s with single keyboard,monitor,mouse

In your office or home network if the situation is like that you have to work in two or more computers alternatively.The best cost effective is getting a KVM switch which can connect all the computers to one keyboard,monitor,mouse.where you can switch between the computers using the keys combination in the keyboard.(scroll lock and the number key)

Now let me explain clearly about KVM switch.The name KVM is acronym of Keyboard Video Mouse which is a hardware that can connect many computers to one keyboard,monitor and mouse.

Working with many computers alternatively or you if you have to keep switching between the systems for your workkVM switches are useful to connect those systems and work from single Keyboard Monitor and Mouse .Many manufacturers provide KVM switches in the market including the leading companies.I have posted the picture of a setup with KVM switch below for better understanding.
