Do you want to send more information

I am not sure about other Windows users, me personally was irritated to see the pop up “Do you want to send more informations about the problem”.As this message popped up when I am stuck when working in Windows Vista and delayed me in getting back in to same work.Then through some tech tips I came to know that we can disable the pop up . Here are the steps which I got for VISTA try the same and happy working with windows machines

  • Click on START go to CONTROL PANEL-control panel home
  • select SYSTEM AND MAINTENANCE and go to Problem reports and Solutions
  • select CHANGE SETTINGS click on ADVANCED SETTINGS
  • When the advanced settings open check the radio button OFF to For my programs, problem reporting is:

Thats how to disable the problem reporting in VISTA pop up .Hope this works for you all

Cannot Enable Power Plan From The Power Options - Windows Vista

Power Plan can be enabled from the Control Panel -> Power Options.

In case if you see the message “Your power plan information isn’t available”, then you have to enable it from the Command prompt.

1.Click Start -> type cmd on the Start Search -> right click on the CMD and click Run as administrator.
2.On the command prompt type powercfg /list and press enter.
3.Note down the Guid for the Balanced.
4.Type powercfg -setactive “type the guid here” and press enter.

Reboot the computer and open the Power Options, and you will get the preferred power plans listed.
