Symptoms :

- > System Freezes at the desktop
- > Can’t open any applications

Workaround :

- > Try in Safe Mode ( Keep tapping F8, as soon you turn on the computer to get Advance Boot Options)
- > Try disabling Startup items and non MS Service (How to disable startup items)
-> Disable Hardware devices if the above step didnt work (How to disable hardware devices)
-> If the problem resolved after disabling the hardware devices you can check enabling one by one to see which hardware cause the problem

Most propably the Network adapter or Wireless adapter will be the cause for the issue. You can try installing latest driver for your network adapter or wireless adapter.

Otherwise you may have to replace the adapter.

5. Reconnect the Keyboarad, Mouse and monitor cables
6. Turn on the computer and press F10 repeatedly at the first logo screen until a BIOS screen appears.

(Note : If pressing F10 didnt help then try F11 or F1 to enter bios)

7. Use the left and right arrow keys to select Advanced menu.
8. Use the up and down arrow keys to select Hardware Monitor , and press Enter .

10. Use the following list to determine the CPU Fan Check value for your PC configuration:

- Active heat sink; cooling fins directly on processor with a fan sitting on top of the fins.
hardware monitor/CPU fan check = ENABLED

- Passive heat sink; cooling fins on processor without a fan directly on top.
hardware monitor/CPU fan check = DISABLED

- Fan duct leading to a fan sitting on or directly over the processor cooling fins.
hardware monitor/system fan check = ENABLED

- Fan duct without any fan
hardware monitor/system fan check = DISABLED

11. If the value is different than what is currently set, change the value as follows:
- Select CPU Fan Check and press Enter .
- Select the correct value ( ENABLED or DISABLED ) and press Enter .
