No sound on Streaming Videos through Flash Player - Unable to hear sound on flash player
Reason for the Cause:
Could be because of incorrect Flash Player settings or Sound Files corruption or even due to conflict with the add-on installed.
Suggestion:
1. Check the Sound settings on Flash Player by right click on the Video
2. Open Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Multimedia -> Place a check on Play sound in web pages
3. Uninstall the flash player by going to Start -> Control Panel ->Add or Remove programs (If Vista then Programs and Features) -> Double click on Flash Player to uninstall
4. Install the flash player from http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
5. Restart the computer and trying playing the video
If the above steps fail then Click Here to download the registry fix. Save the file in to the desktop and double to merge with the registry.
Restart the computer and now you should hear sound on Streaming Videos
* Make sure you take the backup of your registry or create restore point before merging the registry values.
